Looking for an unforgettable cook school in Scotland? Join us at Ballintaggart Farm for our immersive Residential Cook Schools — a three-day culinary escape celebrating the best of Scottish produce, expert-led tuition, and warm Ballintaggart hospitality.
This hands-on retreat is ideal for food lovers looking to enhance their cooking skills in Scotland. You’ll be guided by our talented chefs as you master new techniques, cook with the seasons, and enjoy the process of creating and sharing food in a relaxed, inspiring setting.
The Residential Cook School will focus on vegetable led cooking; how to make the most of seasonal produce, delicious dishes to showcase those star ingredients and special dishes for those celebratory moments.
Your stay includes:
Day One: Arrive to a warm welcome and relaxed lunch to get to know your fellow students. You’ll begin your culinary journey with a Sourdough Masterclass, followed by time to explore the farm and settle in before taking part in a fun Cocktail Masterclass overlooking the Tay Valley. To end the day, you’ll enjoy a seasonal supper prepared by our chefs to enjoy with fellow guests.
Day Two: Enjoy a peaceful morning at the Farm or take some time to explore Highland Perthshire. After a light lunch, dive into a hands-on seasonal cooking class. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a seasonal dinner again with fellow guests at the Farm.
Day Three: On the final morning, you’ll complete your three day sourdough loaf and take part in the final masterclass of the experience. You’ll enjoy a final lunch with fellow guests, before departing the farm early in the afternoon.
Accommodation is provided in our luxurious Farmhouse and Steading properties — each room has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, beautiful views and relaxing shared spaces for guests to enjoy.
A continental breakfast featuring Ballintaggart produce is included daily for you to enjoy each morning.
