Go on a journey of culinary discovery with our new residential Cook School Retreats at Ballintaggart Farm.

Spend three days with our expert chefs, honing your kitchen skills and creating delicious dishes from the finest seasonal Scottish produce.

On the first day, enjoy our signature welcome bake upon arrival and begin your retreat with our classic Sourdough Masterclass. After some time to relax and explore the Farm, enjoy a Cocktail Masterclass before enjoying dinner with your fellow students at The Farm.

On the second day, have a slow relaxing morning on the farm or take some time to explore Highland Perthshire. After a light lunch, join our Fire & Foraging Masterclass, exploring the Balnaguard Glen for wild ingredients and learning new ways to cook over fire.

In the evening you’ll be treated to a BBQ Feast overlooking the stunning views of the Tay Valley.

On the final day, you’ll complete your Sourdough Masterclass, and prepare your own lunch to enjoy, utilising with the skills and techniques you’ve picked up over the previous few days.

Accommodation is across both our Steading rooms, or in the newly renovated Ballintaggart Farmhouse. All accommodation features king sized beds, luxury en-suite bathrooms and access to shared lounge and kitchen. A continental breakfast will be arranged each morning, filled with Ballintaggart produce. 

You’ll leave the Cook School with new skills, insider knowledge and plenty of food that you’ll have created during your time with us.
