From chopping board to yoga mat - an immersive day of nourishment for body, mind and soul.
Join us at Ballintaggart Farm for a day of outstanding, seasonal Scottish food and soul nourishing yoga. There’ll be plenty of time to take in the spectacular views, explore the farm and enjoy a nourishing lunch prepared by a Ballintaggart chef.
You will be guided through a mini masterclass in The Cook School by Ballintaggart. Packed with fresh flavours, seasonal ingredients, expert tips and new skills. The recipes will be largely plant-based, seasonal and nutritionally balanced. There’ll be chance to get hands on with the cooking, learn new techniques and ask our chefs to reveal any culinary secrets you’ve always wanted to know. The masterclass will offer fresh inspiration for your home cooking too.
Stepping into the serene Steading studio; candlelit and warmed by a log burning stove, you will be guided in this space by British Wheel of Yoga trained Christie Wood who will lead a gentle and restorative practice (suitable for all levels).
The focus will be on cultivating deeper emotional and internal strength as well as physical. You can expect a variety of styles united by mindful aligned movement and gentle hatha flow. To complete the session, Christie will immerse students in the meditative vibrations of a crystal bowl sound bath. You will leave nourished, inspired, relaxed and restored.
